ANNOUNCEMENTS for JUNE 25, 2017
One Worship Service – 10:00
Remember we are on our summer worship schedule. On Sundays we will have one worship service at 10:00 a.m.
Congregational Meeting – June 25
The church council will have a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m., immediately after the worship service. There are two items for the agenda.
The council would like permission to put some of the undeveloped property up for sale. The property includes the area east of the creek and north of the area we have cleared. Most of the area is in flood plain. (This recommendation is in follow-up to the discussion the congregation had at the annual meeting last January.)
The council would like for the congregation to authorize $5000 in 2017-2018 (so about $2500 in this year’s budget) to hire a youth worker for our high school program beginning in September.
On Sunday, June 25 at 9:30 we will have a time for congregational prayer in the conference room. We are into a busy summer season; we need to take time together for prayer to support all of this. Please come as we undergird our ministries with prayer!

Day Camp is for children age 3 through grade 6. The camp itself will meet on Monday through Friday from 9:00 until 3:00. (3 and 4 year olds meet from 9:00 until noon.)
Please bring your neighborhood children and friends. All are welcome to attend and share in our fun.
Doesn’t it seem like school just ended for the summer break? We are already at the place in time that we are beginning to collect school supplies beginning today and we will collect them through the end of July. Any supplies are welcome. We hope to have our list by next Sunday, and if so, we will publish it in the bulletin so that you know specifically the supplied preferred. Many of our school children need our help. Let’s try to collect as many as we can to help as many children as we can!
Your Help is Needed
Plans are in motion for our Octoberfest this fall! The food and beverage committee is beginning to stockpile beverages in anticipation of the event. If you would like to donate to this cause, bring any of the following items during the month of June:
*Cases of bottled Water
*Canned Dr. Pepper
Note: Due to the fact that the diet drinks have a fairly short expiration time, we are asking you hold off on providing those diet drinks until we are much closer to the event!
